Dear all,

"There are times when silence speaks much more loudly than words of praise to only as good as belittle a person, whose words do not express, but only put a veneer over true feelings, which are gratitude at this point of time" It's really giving me immense pleasure to write some words for our new opening English Medium School named "Gyan Vikash Academy". First of all, I would like to congratulate my management team of our school who gave me this opportunity to do this wonderful project. I am really grateful because we managed to complete this project within time. It cannot be completed without the effort and cooperation from Mr Nayeb Ali and Mrs Rejina Khatun. I wish to express my deep gratitude and sincere thanks to Mr Saifullah Siddique, for holding hand with us. Once, a friend of mine from abroad emailed me that "I learned Indian language". I was shocked and replied which Indian language you are talking about? In India we have 24 major languages and almost 750 dialects. Yes guys this is the story of language of India. Now just imagine how many languages could be spoken in the whole world? But the fact is that English language has the importance that becomes lingua franca now (common language for the world). So linguists say, learn your mother tongue first then learn a second language that could be English or as an Indian it could be Hindi as it is a national language. Then English comes after Hindi as a foreign language for Indians. Looking after the importance of English language, I personally noticed that maximum parents have the attitude now a days to prefer English as the medium of education for their kids. Secondly I also observed that they prefer boarding school where they will learn not only education but discipline also. During my small survey one parent asked me "Don't you think speaking in English can make my kids smarter than others?" Keeping in mind all of those points it was my dream to provide the best opportunity in our area to motivate students to study in English medium school. Finally, it's an appeal for the parents who want a better career for their kids, who can challenge the rest of the world, to come forward to make this institution a successful one.
